Central Coast Wedding Venues: Officer’s Club at Camp San Luis
POSTED ON February 6th, 2012 By Taffy Gonzalez

If classic elegance fascinates you, why not bring that passion to your wedding day? There are a handful of fabulous Central Coast wedding venues that will make your dream a reality. If you are seeking a truly vintage-themed venue, you will want to check out the historic Officer’s Club at Camp San Luis. The Officer’s Club was built in 1928 and will allow you to plan the vintage wedding of your dreams.

Camp San Luis also has a quaint chapel on the property so that you can hold your ceremony at the same location if you’d like to add a more traditional piece to your special day. Photography opportunities abound, from the 1950′s’ and 1960′s historic airplanes that are on-site to the beautiful oak trees throughout the historic property. Make the day fun and unique by

having guests arrive by trolley or maybe you can park some vintage cars in front for a great photo op. You can really have some fun by inviting your guests to arrive in vintage costumes which will set the scene for your special day.

As with many Central Coast wedding venues, there is so much that you can do when planning a wedding at the Camp San Luis Officer’s Club. Step inside and discover the “fireplace room” which greets you at the entrance. This area can accommodate up to 125 people and it is perfect for welcoming your guests, serving appetizers or displaying photos. The Officer’s Club boasts a newly remodeled commercial kitchen, bar service, tables and chairs. The ballroom alone can accommodate up to 350 people and there is room for an additional 300 guests outdoors. Another perk of having a

wedding at Camp San Luis is that all of the basics including restrooms, tables and chairs are covered. This means that you can focus your energy on adding your unique vintage touch. You can use themed-vintage linens and china or turn the bar into a speakeasy. A vintage wedding is elegant and the Officer’s Club makes it affordable.

Central Coast Wedding Venues: Rustic Chic Weddings
POSTED ON January 24th, 2012 – CCWP Blog By Taffy Gonzalez

The Central Coast abounds with picturesque wineries and charming barns, perfect for your rustic chic wedding! Some brides are a bit intimidated to choose a venue of this nature because they are not “inclusive”. As the owner of All Traditions, I have planned weddings at a multitude of unique Central Coast wedding venues…one such wedding was at a cattle range! You can do it and a professional wedding coordinator can help! An experienced wedding coordinator can easily arrange for everything from nice portable restrooms to chairs and even lounge furniture. If your dream is to have a wedding with a more “green” or organic feel, let’s make your wedding dreams come true!

Everyone has their own unique story and your wedding can be equally unique. How fun would it be to have a bon fire that was complimented by a s‘mores station for your guests to enjoy? If “having your cake and eating it too” doesn’t quite appeal to you, why not make your cake out of cheese instead? Dare to be non-traditional. The advantage of using a non-inclusive venue means it’s not already all done for you, so you can add your own special touches such as chandeliers, colorful linens, vintage china…let’s work together to make it you…and make it funky!

Enjoy these photos from some of my Central Coast weddings where we had a little rustic fun.

I just heard about a fabulous organization called Wish Upon a Wedding.  This group is the the world’s first wedding wish granting organization that produces weddings for individuals facing  terminal illness, They are holding an online auction during the months of October and November at https://www.biddingforgood.com/auction/AuctionHome.action?auctionId=115386483

Couples planning to be married will be able to bid for wedding-related auction items online or at any of the live events, all at incredible prices. Wedding and event professionals representing more than 20 auction categories are donating the items, which cover many of the details and services needed to plan the perfect wedding. Items will be donated and available to engaged couples in 46 cities, and range from wedding gowns to tuxedos, invitations to cakes, and limousine services to honeymoons.
